I love hiking, backpacking and am a bit of a gear-head, but my niche is in trying to find quality gear that doesn’t break down or the bank. 

I’ll find myself walking down the aisles of any store and seeing an item, I think, “I bet that would be good for backpacking…” Yeah, it’s pathetic.

I write about the trails my friends and I hike, the lifehacks we discover on the trail, the bushcrafting woes we mess up on, and review the gear we try out.
